Papertake Weekly

Hey everyone.
I've been working really hard on this card for the last two days, as it's for my best friend. I knew once i saw the fab sketch at Papertake Weekly by Dawny P that i had to join in. I think my gorgeous Miss Anyas from Bunny-Zoes Crafts work great with these yummy MME papers so paired those up.


The roses, pins and big pearls are all from Hobby Craft, and the gorgeous ribbon is some Smirk that i got at a great price from my local Craft Shop: 50p for 5 metres!! I watercoloured the image with my trusty whispers. { Don't think i'll ever change, i don't like Promarkers as the nibs are too thick, and copics are way to expensive!! It would probably take me a year to save my pocket money for just one set lol. }

If i was selling this card, i'd probably price it up at 1.70... i'd love to hear how much you charge for your cards, or if you sell them!

    Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful Fern, love everything about this card its amazingly pretty! I'd ask for more money for your cards hun, I charge between £3 & £4.50 for a square card, this card is definitely worth more than £1.70! :) Donna x

    Fern you stick to your whispers love as this colouring on this card is superb. I don't like promarkers neither, I gave all mine to my son Scott. This card is so pretty I definately think it's worth more.

    Hi Fern, fabulous card you friend is sure to love it. Love the gorgeous image and the papers look delish, love the colouring too. I sell mine for £1.50 - £2.00 depending on whether I have decorated the inside.

    This is lovely Fern, gorgeous colours. Your friend is gonna love it. I love my PMs but the thick nibs do take some getting used to. You stock to what you like, we're all different. I sell my cards for £1.40, A5 cards £2.50. I couldn't charge more. I don't think people at work would pay it. They don't always appreciate how much work goes into them nor how much stuff costs. It's hard to put a price on perfection isn't it, lol. Marianne x

    what a gorgeous card and beautifully coloured - I sell my cards at £2.50 each - if you think about it when you go to tesco for a nice card people pay £3.50 - £4.00 so even £2.50 is cheap.
